Vignettes: fundraising

EndTimes has been raising money for the Fifth Annual Vignettes for the Appocalypse using kickstarter and now with a live event: a Game Show night! The event is sponsored by Brooklyn Brewery and involves games such as pictionary, opportunities to soak the director, and our own version of Hollywood Squares. I was asked to be one of the "EndTimes celebrities" - and pulled out all the stops as an infamous "Savage Hot Babe".

The charachter comes from a skit - The Savage Hot Babe Massacre, produced by Endtimes - that has since become infamous: and I have been slated to perform in the relaunch. In the meantime, I pulled a few other girls into the fray and we attended the fundraiser as "Savage Hot Babes". It was a really fun evening (face painting by Melinda Prom) and we made enough to meet our goal!
With new sites like kickstarter and Indiegogo it seems increasingly possible to launch your own work - in this case we raised enough to mount a huge theater festival. It really makes you realize what all could be possible. For now though, focusing on Vignettes for the Appocalypse.
